Marcela Benedetti
Marcela is a Latin-American barrister, campaigner and activist specialised in gender-based violence and migrant women’s rights. She has 13 years of experience working in migrant organisations supporting families fleeing domestic abuse and other forms of gender-based violence. She worked as a front-line practitioner, managing services and supporting campaigns. She has experience creating and implementing innovative collaborations to best support the needs of victims/survivors.

Award winning transgender activist and Diversity and Inclusion specialist in the public sector. Over the past 10 years she has supported several local and national LGBT+ charities and she is currently a Trustee of Gendered Intelligence and the London LGBQT+ Community Centre.

Lucy’s work focuses on engaging people, especially marginalised groups, in shaping the cities in which they live as an emancipatory practice of socio-spatial justice. She is interested in the intersections between feminism, urban design and the built environment, and the spatial implications of violence against women and girls.

She is the founding director of international human rights organisation and grassroots movement Restless Beings – dedicated to supporting the world’s most marginalised communities. Restless Beings occupies the space between activism, academia and advocacy.
Dr. Catherine McCormack
Art historian, independent curator and author of Women in the Picture: Women, Art and the Power of Looking and The Art of Looking Up . She is the founder and course leader of the Women and Art study programme at Sotheby’s Institute of Art and regularly writes on contemporary and historical art.

Writer specialising in photography, an educator and art activist. She has written for numerous publications in print and online and recently curated GASLIGHTING, an online group art show of work created by those with direct experience of domestic abuse.
Alinta Sara
Co-founder of Bokantaj, a collaborative initiative that aims to raise greater awareness about the historical trajectories and universal themes that connect communities in the global South. Her current research is on the Afro Brazilian architectural heritage in the Bight of Benin and reflects on the link between collective memory, space and architecture.
Ana Flores Reis
Ana Flores Reis is the Advice service manager at Solace, a London-based charity supporting women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence. The Advice service offers specialist short term support to survivors of gender-based violence. The service provides immediate advice to women across all levels of risk and can refer them on to Solace’s other services such as refuge accommodation, longer term advocacy support, counselling or specialist children’s services. She has dedicated her career to advocating for survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, trafficking, honour-based violence and FGM.
